Bennington Area Makers (BAM)

Code of Conduct

As a member of the Bennington Area Makers makerspace, I pledge to:

1. Put my knowledge and skills to practical use while exploring creative ideas through hands-on work.

2. Learn through hands-on experience, in both success and failure, emphasizing growth from experimentation.

3. Engage with the community by learning from others while committing to teach, help, collaborate with, include, mentor, respect, celebrate, encourage, and inspire fellow Makers.

4. Follow all Makerspace safety policies and procedures with NO exceptions.

5. Create and maintain a safe atmosphere for myself and all others present.

6. Only use tools and equipment that I have been properly trained on and given approval to use.

7. Respect that staff and authorized volunteers have final say on what is permissible inside the Makerspace.

8. Understand that access to the Makerspace is a privilege which can and will be revoked for policy violations.
